Planning Your Birthday Party

  • Reserve Your Party Time

    Call (803) 396-8777 or drop by the studio.
    Booking your party early will secure your date & time of choice, as well as allowing us time to order additional pieces, if necessary.


  • Select the Bisque - $10 minimum per guest

    For kids 12 and younger, we recommend having every guest paint the same item. With this approach, we can better instruct and assist your guests to create an attractive project.


  • Leave a $25 Deposit

    Your check will be held with your selected bisque until party day and applied to the total party price. You will be charged only for the number of pieces painted, so don't worry if there are last minute changes to your guest list.






Party Time varies from 45 minutes to 1 1/2 hours, depending on the age of painters and complexity of bisque selected. Please encourage parents to drop off guests - our space is limited and "watchers" fill chairs that painters may need. Just a reminder: Kids have more fun if parents aren't "helping"!

For an additional $20, we will  custom paint your child a Birthday Plate for guests to sign. 

ClayEscape has no separate party room, so other painters may be sharing the studio with your party. This works out fine while kids are painting, but can be disruptive with present opening and refreshment eating. We regret we cannot host this portion of your party here. Village Pizza is just a few steps away, and if you finish (or begin) your party with pizza & drinks, they are happy to have you open presents & enjoy your cake!
Your masterpieces will be glazed, fired & ready for pick-up in 1 week.

We suggest that you pick up all pieces & distribute them to your child's guests; otherwise, many kids will forget and their beautiful memento from your party will be left to languish on dusty ClayEscape shelves!
